‘We’re allocating additional time’.
We’ve got some bad news, as CD Projekt Red has confirmed today that the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S versions of both Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 will now be launching in 2022 instead of 2021.
In a report published earlier today, it was explained that “based on recommendations supplied by persons supervising development, it has decided to allocate additional time to both projects.” The next-gen version of Cyberpunk 2077 will now launch in the first quarter of 2022, and The Witcher 3 in the second quarter of 2022.
