Some games come and go, but rarely does one come along and have such a cultural impact that players are still talking about it a decade on. Originally released for the PlayStation 3 on 11th November, 2011, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is absolutely one of those games. A fact that’s being celebrated by Bethesda today with the launch of its new Anniversary Edition. What is it about Skyrim above all other open world RPGs, though, that keeps on pulling us back?
